Robin Rountree - Bass/Vocals/Band Leader

Originally  from  Chicago,  IL,  Robin  Rountree, an  Economics Major, with a minor in Music Performance at Chicago  State University, has performed all over the world for some of the top artists in the US as a bassist and/or vocalist. Her many credits include performing and/or recording with RANDY HALL (The Man with the Horn,) the late JOHNNY "GUITAR" WATSON, CHAKA KHAN, KLYMAXX, PAUL JACKSON JR., SKEE-LO, TONE LOC, PAMELA WILLIAMS "THE SAXTRESS," NADIRAH SHAKOOR and P!NK.

 

Michael Turner - Drums and Lead Male Vocalist

originally from New Orleans, LA and a graduate of CSUN [Northridge] with a B.A. in Music Education  is an accomplished vocalist, drummer, pianist and educator having performed with Kashif, Howard Hewitt, The Daz Band,  Dennis Jones, Roy Gaines and was the Lead singer for MCA recording artist Front Page. 

Darryl Wakefield - Saxophone

born and raised in Pontiac, MI, a product of Central Michigan College, "DWAKE" came about the funk honestly [and at a young age.] He is a great showman that has recorded and performed extensively with Michael Henderson, Jean Carn, Orange Lake Drive, Melissa Morgan, Fred Hammond and Kem to name a few!

 

George Pandis - Trumpet

has been one of the premier trumpet and Flugelhorn players on the Los Angeles music scene for two decades. He has shown to be a versatile performer in many genres from jazz, blues, r&b, funk, latin, soul to hip hop and rock. He has shared the stage with a wide range of artists such as George Clinton, Chris White, Greg Esparza, The Brotherhood Horns, Aldo D'Agostino, Roy Gaines, to name only a few.

Fabian Fernandez - Guitar

Originally from Wales United Kingdom, Fabian Fernandez has become a severely in-demand guitarist, teacher, producer, arranger, and session musician, and composes and records guitar on the current hit Nickelodeon TV series "SpongeBob SquarePants".  Mr Fernandez has performed with The Phil Woods Big Band, recorded with The Miami Sound Machine, performed live with The Gypsy Kings, has performed live on Lopez Tonight with Three T (Michael Jackson's nephews.) and has performed alongside many A list musicians all over the world and continues to have fun doing it!

Fredericka P Meek - Lead Female Vocalist

​Hailing from the Windy City, Fredericka performed in the pre-Broadway workshop of Car Wash the Musical: The Norman Whitfield Story where she played Bunny, Norman's niece and a hopeless romantic. She also toured the USA and Canada as one of two "Coquettes" performing with Conan O'Brien in his "Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television" Tour. Recipient of an NAACP Theatre Award for Best Supporting Blactress, this rising star is one of the founders of the uniquely funny all female sketch comedy group, "Illuminaughty By Nature."

Michael Sechrest - guitar/principal male vox

Key Strengths: accomplished musician, singer, entertainer, songwriter, music director producer who has performed and recorder with Diana Ross, Lakita Garth, Jon Gibson, Israel Houghton, Eddie Money, Lee Greenwood, Wayne Newton, Deitrick Haddon, and Seduction. He is also a guitarist and music director in the Wayne Foster Corporate Agency.

 

Sebastian Leger - trumpet

Key Strengths: accomplished musician, entertainer, producer, arranger who has performed and/or recorded with George Clinton, George Michael, Macy Gray, Everlast, House of Pain, Angelo Moore, Norwood Fisher and Philip Fisher/Fishbone, Chali 2na from Jurassic 5, Talib Kweli, Estelle, Vikter Duplaix, Kid from Kid and Play, Peace from Freestyle Fellowship, and Bijou Philips

 

Sam Fullerton - Sax/Vocals

a native Chicagoan, settled on the tenor sax, but is also proficient on alto sax, flute and piano. Sam-I-Am earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from North Central College in Naperville, Il and also studied for one year in Fez, Morocco. He went on to perform on the Chicago music scene mainly in the R & B and corporate scene. He was a CPS High School and Elementary School Band Director for both the Chicago Public Schools and the Chicago Archdiocese performing regularly for several heads of state, Cardinals, Politicians and other dignitaries in the Chicago area. 

Kyle Davis - keys/vocals

Key Strengths accomplished musician, arranger, producer, audio engineer, music minister and music director who has performed and/or recorded with DJ Quik, Paul Jackson Jr., Edwin Hawkins, Chante Moore, CeCe Winans, and Randy Hall to name only a few. Davis has also created and/or produced music for the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Extra, Tyra Banks and the Real Husbands of Hollywood

 

Vince Walker - Lead Male Vocalist aka Corey Richardson (on the Westside of Chi)

also a Chicago Native, Vincent Corey Walker's career took off when joining R. Kelly and MGM recording an album under the Independent Record Label Tavadash Records and eventually released by Jive Records. Vince was signed independently to New York record label Untouchables Entertainment distributed by La Face Records. Vince was the first runner up for Chicago radio station 107.5 WGCI contest CHICAGO IDOL and worked as a featured and background vocalist with Brian Mc Knight, Yolanda Adams, Howard Hewett, and with Gary Jenkins from the group “Silk”

Kathy Merrick - Lead Female Vocalist

​Hailing from Washington, DC  - Chocolate City, Kathy a singer songwriter dancer and choreographer was a founding member of the popular recording group LACE on the Polygram subsidiary Wing. After some successful hits, Kathy went on to perform with Eddie Murphy, Johnny Gill, Boz Scaggs and Christian Castro to name only a few. Most recently she has been performing with the spin offs "Sounds of the Supreme's," the "Want Adds"  and "Jack Mac and the Heart Attack" 

Gregory Moore a.k.a G-MOE - Guitar/Vocals

is a soft spoken man from the Motor City (Detroit, MI) who expresses himself vividly through his body of work. He has performed with EARTH WIND and FIRE, STEVIE WONDER, PRINCE, MARVIN GAYE, PATRICE RUSHEN and TONY TONI TONE

 

Scheila Gonzales - sax

Key Strengths: accomplished musician, entertainer, singer, producer, arranger, songwriter is an American, Grammy winning multi-instrumentalist and music educator. She is best known for playing the saxophone and other instruments in the all-female DIVA Jazz Orchestra and with artists such as Dweezil ZappaAlex AcuñaRay Parker Jr. and many others. Formerly a full-time member of the Zappa Plays Zappa world tour, since 2019 Gonzalez has been touring with Colin Hay as part of a revived and revamped Men at Work line-up.

Melena Francis – percussion

Key Strengths: accomplished multi-instrumentalist who plays Congas, Timbales, Bongos, Shekere, and the Sacred Bata Drums. She is an artist who exemplifies the sounds of legendary players from the past to the modern sounds of today. Melena studied with the Conjunto Folklorico Nacional De Cuba and the Sacred Bata Drums with Regino Jimenez, Mario Jauregui, Cristobal Larinanga and Daniel Hererra. Melena has performed with legendary artists such as; Barry White, Stevie Wonder, Julio Iglesias, Chayanne, Macy Gray, Chucho Valdes & Irakere, Francisco Aguabella, Ray De La Paz, Chino Nunez, Peru Negro, Eva Ayllone, Poncho Sanchez, and Oscar Hernandez.

David Cowan - drums

Key Strengths: accomplished musician, arranger producer a.k.a. “The Young Professor” is a Los Angeles-based musician who has performers and recorded with artists including Brian McKnight, Howard Hewitt, Clark Terry, The Boston Pops, Lalah Hathaway, Frank McComb, Shirley Caesar, Ali Woodson, Daryl Coley, Jennifer Holiday, Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr., The Fifth Dimension, Tom Coster, Abraham Laboriel Sr. Walter Beasley, Andre Ward, Errica Campbell (from gospel duo Mary Mary) and many more. Currently, David is promoting the latest release from his LA based Afro-Latin funk/Rock band One Tribe Nation!
